"and what is next for you Laura?"
I finished a coaching course recently, and was asked "and what is next for you Laura?"
And without thinking I replied with something like this:
"In this season of my life of nurturing and growing, I am going to continue to follow my intuition."
What do harry potter and motherhood have in common?
Listening to this, I started to reflect on the ”splits” that motherhood and the last few years have triggered in me. I think it’s no exaggeration to say that at times there have been parts of my soul that have been deadened - whether through fear, exhaustion, financial pressure, lack of creative stimulus, lack of space…
Finding your purpose in your business
If you're struggling to find your purpose, working can feel so tough. When you realise that the business you're nurturing is so much more than just an income (though earning money through your own work is pretty awesome) feels so wonderful. It's a beautiful representation of your values and the way you want to show up in this season of your life.
That all illusive confidence, and why I don’t always have it
I am totally confident in my choices – I still have to regularly assess what confidence means to me, and if I’m on the right path for me and my family, but that comes from a place of excitement and love, not fear and negativity. I know when I work with my clients that I help them get to that point, it’s why I love my job and love working with amazing women. Confidence in all that – it’s there in abundance.
Learning how to forget yourself and live in the moment
Sometimes, we get so caught up in our own heads that we forget to simply be in the moment. But here's the deal: life is like a crazy, beautiful, messy painting, and if we're always stuck in our heads, we'll miss out on all those amazing brushstrokes.
Goal setting for small business owners and multi-passionates
Goal setting is something I find great joy in. Whilst I do love creating goals for myself, I like them to feel natural and non-pressured. I’m sharing the strategies that I use when setting goals. There’s also a chance here to reflect on goals for making money and wider enrichment goals - don’t be afraid to hold both in equal regard.

Selling is giving our amazing customers and clients a chance to consider what they might want to buy from us, and allow them to choose the ideal offer when it lands at the perfect time.
Turning Dreams into Reality: Overcoming Self-Doubt and Taking Action
there is nothing wrong with what you're doing right now if it's working for you. With sitting in a place of comfort and ease. If it's working for you, fabulous darling.
But the best thing you can possibly do for yourself now is to ask yourself the question I think Tara Mohr phrases so beautifully:
"Am I being more loyal to my fears or to my dreams?"
If you’re getting really stuck about what you want to do, here are five powerful steps that might help you to find your way:
The Silent Whisper: Embracing Your Inner quiet Voice
In the hushed corners of our minds, the quiet voice beckons, urging us to dare, dream, and act upon our most profound desires. It reminds us that within our whispers of doubt, there are echoes of untapped potential and uncharted paths. Embracing this inner guidance is a journey towards self-discovery and a life lived authentically. So, dear reader, let the subtle notes of your inner voice be your compass, and may you embark on adventures that unfold the stories only you can write, for it is in listening to this hushed melody that we often find the courage to transform dreams into reality.
Chasing Dreams and Proving Doubters Wrong
When I finished at university and was starting my PGCE, I knew I wanted to sing professionally alongside music teaching. I was so excited to become a teacher, and knew I had to much to offer, but I’d got used to singing every day, and was determined that this skill should continue to be part of my every day life.
