Finding your purpose in your business
Prompts for when you’re stuck in uncertainty
I'm writing this as my youngest plays independently nearby. I was expecting him to have a longer nap today, and he hasn't, so he's playing with his favourite toy while I type away. It's not ideal, but I want to send this and he's young enough to manage (especially after a morning of hanging with his "friends" and Baby Sensory).
Why am I giving you this background? Well, he's part of my purpose and the reason behind having my multi-passionate life and business.
But being around for him and his siblings isn't the only reason. I also love doing this work - for me, my brain, my clients and my income.
If you're struggling to find your purpose, working can feel so tough. When you realise that the business you're nurturing is so much more than just an income (though earning money through your own work is pretty awesome) feels so wonderful. It's a beautiful representation of your values and the way you want to show up in this season of your life.
When that purpose is missing, however, showing up for your business can feel, well, exhausting. If you're stuck in uncertainty and purpose has gone missing, then use these prompts to see if you can get closer to that "a-ha" moment:
